Well, the short answer is yes.
I bet you'd like to know more but I would prefer you learned about it from other sources and not from me.
Here's a short list on "how" to get more information, good information from people who've used proper scientific method to determine it's efficacy:
- Enter these search terms in a search engine of your choice: "scholarly articles hypnosis". The search results will provide you with an enormous list of articles, papers, theses, essays and more explaining the processes, theories and results of hypnosis.
- Searching for these terms "results scientific study hypnosis" will render the results of scientific studies on hypnosis from multiple sources.
- Ask people (friends and family) who've actually been hypnotized. You'll get differing results, I'm sure, but I'd rather you get information from people you trust than from any other source. Be advised that not everyone will have been to see a clinical hypnotist (yeah, there's a difference).
- Check out a free recording from me. You'll get an idea of what it's like and some of the methods I use to help people. Granted, the recording isn't the same as an in-person session with me but at least you'll get the idea and honestly, it'll probably help you out.
I totally understand that you probably have a ton of questions but I think this might help to point you in the right direction. As always, please feel free to contact us to learn more. We're always happy to share information with anyone who reaches out.
